My Goal: To offer independent - non-product driven - advice to best meet my clients’ specific needs and goals as they near or are in the retirement season of life.

What do you do: We develop comprehensive financial plans which give our clients peace of mind and provide the greatest probability they will reach their goals.

We start with a simple meeting about what is important to you - what are your true values and goals. Next we develop a written plan to hold everyone involved accountable while providing enough flexibility to ensure the greatest probability of reaching the goals important to you based on your values

My Background: I began my career in the financial services industry over 15 years ago working for and representing institutional organizations. I have always focused on the retiree market in both estate and financial planning and my firm passionately adheres to a ‘client needs based’ planning philosophy. American Reliance Group, Inc. was incorporated in the mid-1990s and has continued to grow as we are privileged to serve 200+ clients in the greater Spokane area.

My firm is a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) and I am a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU). My Registered Investment Advisor designation allows me to engage in the business of advising others on investing in, purchasing or selling securities, money management, and financial planning advice on a fee basis. Completing a series of graduate level college courses and passing rigorous exams based on financial, estate and tax planning curriculum earned my CLU accreditation.

I have published several articles on financial planning topics and a book -“Financial Concerns for Retirement” - discusses the importance of financial planning for individuals who are nearing their retirement age.

I am currently an advisory board member and President elect for the Spokane office of the Salvation Army. I previously have served as a board member for the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

I am a long time resident of Spokane, Washington although I was raised in a rural setting in the Redwood region of Northern California. I have been married to my wife, Kristine, for over two decades and we have been blessed with two wonderful daughters, Aaryn and Alyse.
